Brief introduction about flotation cell

Flotation cell is suitable for separating nonferrous metal and black metal, and non-metal such as, coal, fluorite, talc, etc.
The motor of the flotation separator drives impellers to rotate, and generate centrifugal effect to form the negative pressure, so on one hand, the flotation separator can inhale sufficient air to mix with slurry, on the other hand it can stir the slurry to mix with drug, while refine foam. 

So, mineral material can stick on the foam, and it will be the mineralized bubble after floating to the pulp surface. Adjusting the height of shutter and controlling the liquid surface can help to scrape useful foam.

Features of Hongxing flotation separator

Structural of flotation machine: This machine is mainly composed of bearing slurry tank, agitator, inflatable device, mineralized foam discharging devices, motors and other components.

1. Slurry tank: it has the stock inlet, and the gate device for adjusting the pulp. It mainly consists of the tank and steel plate made of steel and the gate welded by round steel.

2. Stirring device: It is used for stirring the slurry, to prevent precipitation of ore in the tank. It is composed of the belt pulley, impeller and vertical shaft, and the impeller is made of wear-resistant rubber.

3. Air charging system: it is formed by tube and inlet pipe, when the impeller rotates, the negative pressure will be generated in impeller chamber, so the air will be sucked through the hollow tube and dispersed in the slurry to form bubbles. The slurry with a large number of bubbles will be quickly thrown to stator by rotational force of the impeller, to further refine the air bubbles in the slurry and eliminate rotational movement of slurry stream in flotation cell, resulting in rising of a large number of micro-bubbles, to provide the necessary flotation for process condition.

4. Device for excluding mineralized bubbles: it is used to scrap foam floating on the slurry surface, and it mainly consists of the motor reducer, scraper and other components.

Working principle of flotation machine

Add water and necessary agentia to ores, mix them into slurry, and inject into a slurry tank and lead-in air, making the formation of large number of bubbles. Some mineral materials not easily be moistened, will attach to air bubbles and float to the pulp together with the bubbles, forming a layer of mineralized bubbles, while mineral materials easily be moistened by water, which is commonly known as the hydrophilic mineral particles, stay in the pulp instead of adhering to the bubbles, and discharge mineralized air bubbles which contain certain mineral, so as to achieve the purpose of ore dressing.
